Magnolia Tilda with a strawberry feel

Playing with some new papers inbetween nappy changes and feeds lol

The papers are from DCWV, nanny's nursery (think it was little girls). Can't see it in the pic but the strawberries are pre-glittered!! It's a lovely paper pad to work with.

Digi stamp

I won a digi stamp curtessy of http://karensdoodles.com/  last week for a card I entered into a challenge. I chose the stamp called "relax". Here is the first card I have made with the image.

The checked card is from DCWV card stack entitled Nana's Nursery, baby boy. The plain card is papermania with a few peel offs. I coloured the image using promarkers and added some stickles to make the bubbles sparkle!!

Father's day and Teddy Bo digi stamps

Finally made my way over to http://teddybo.co.uk/ this week and discovered they do digi stamps!! For some reason I thought they only did rubber or clear stamps so I was really pleased. Ordered a teddy Bo and a teddy Bea design and they arrived almost instantly - even more pleased lol

This is my first attempt at Teddy Bo

Thought I'd send this one to my dad for Father's Day. Got to be organised this year, no last minute cards as I have a c-section booked for 15th June and I doubt I'll be home for Father's day this year!!

I have chosen to enter the following challenges -

My love affair

My love affair with the black currant card stack from DCWV continues...

The butterfly is an Anita's stamp stamped onto the reverse of the black card and then cut out, bent the wings up a little and placed 3D foam pads under the wings to keep them raised, a few diamantes for the butterfly trail and a stamped sentiment. Very simple but I think effective.

I've entered this into the following challenges -

No new cards

Good morning world!!! I have no new cards to post today as I just couldn't get comfy last night. Every time I lean over my desk to colour an image my baby bump kicks me in the ribs and I have to straighten up again lol obviously this little one doesn't like being squished!!!

So, as I have no new cards I thought I would post some older cards instead. In March I was asked to make some wedding cards ready for an April wedding and a May wedding. Here they are

I used Lili of the Valley stamps for both of them and papermania textured card from the capsule range. A few brads or diamantes to the front and the inside of each card was made to reflect the front so it wasn't just plain white inside. Both these cards were bigger than I normally make, these were 8inch cards. I hope they were/are received well by the 2 happy couples, I know the lady who ordered them was pleased with them so that makes me happy!

Another LOTV boy stamp

Been a busy day today, after the school run I discovered the usual post office I use weren't opening until after 9am today then I had a phone call regarding the new sofa I have ordered - the delivery guys were at my house ready to see if the said sofa would fit through our narrow door way. Well... after 2 cups of tea and a bit of me pleading they took the front door off its hinges and made the sofa fit Yippee!! So 10 weeks from now I should have a lovely and comfy sofa in situ in my front room. I can't wait lol

Anyway, onto today's card - This is one of my favourite stamps "pirate bear" by Lili of the Valley. I decided it was about time I made a boy card after all my pink and purple creations.

The wood grain effect backing paper came from the paper mill shop and the blue panel was taken from a magazine a little while ago and I can't remember which magazine it was.
